“I began working as receptionist/bookkeeper at Conroe Veterinary Clinic in January of 1980 when Randy bought 49% of the practice from Dr. James Cates.  Having a Richards High School education I had to learn bookkeeping and managing a business by “hands on experience.”  Being raised a dairyman’s daughter in Grimes County, I have been exposed to animals all my life.  Randy and I have four kids, eight grandkids, and are expecting a great-granddaughter in October.  Other than family, my favorite pass times are quilting, yard work, and tending the farm in Grimes County.  Some find it hard to believe that Randy and I have sucessfully worked together all these years and remained married!  We don’t have to ask “How was your day at work,” we already know.”
